This is a vintage Conn tenor saxophone #297XXX in silver-plated finish, manufactured in 1940 in Elkhart, Indiana USA.  Most pads are midlife or older, with necessary replacements, and this sax is set up to good playing adjustment.  However, some players will always want a sax personally to their taste by their own technician, so buyers will need to figure that expense into the price BEFORE bidding. Plenty of wear, speckling, scratches, and small dents for it's age.  "University of Florida" is inscribed above the serial number.  This sax plays responsively with a strong vintage edge and presence.  Comes without a case but this sax will be very carefully packaged for shipping.
This great vintage sax is offered at 99 cents starting bid and no reserve, to the highest bidder!
