Vintage Yamaha Console Mods
Vintage Audio Skyline Build
One facet of our work is modifying or improving older pieces of gear in terms of audio performance. We offer various mods that lower noise, increase headroom, bandwidth and increase sonic width such as is common with our Burr Brown input and output stage mods.  Each products mod is different. We use many different tricks to bring out the best  of each peice of gear.Compressor/Gates/Expanders: Prices listed are for our various services. All prices include a key which indicates which services are included.
Revive Audio's Mod Shop does many different mods including:    * Our Highly sought after Burr Brown input and output stage modification
    * PSU upgrade
    * Sidechain Filtering,
    * Capacitor Bypassing and coupling
    * Audio path capacitor upgrades    * Vca upgrades are also available on those units listed with an (*) for an additional $35 per channel.
    * Units listed with (**) include a complete electrolytic recap.The VCA modification really increases the Dynamic Range, lowers the Noise and Distortion, while increasing the Detail and the Frequency Response.
The result is a bigger, wider and more detailed sonic image.
and from B&H
he 720 Dominator II is a stereo multi-band peak limiter designed to fit a wide range of applications where transparency of limiting action is absolutely critical, while preventing peak levels from exceeding the user settable output level. At virtually any limiting depth, the unit is free of frequency degradation and most other side-effects normally associated with limiters. A very common problem with wide-band processing is where one part of the audio spectrum controls the level of another part. If there is a large concentration of lower frequencies, these will tend to control the level of the entire spectrum. The unit solves these problems by splitting the audio into three frequency bands and limiting each band individually with the outputs of the bands being summed and sent to a detector circuit. If the sum exceeds a reference value, the circuit reduces the thresholds of the individual limiters.
