For sale is my prized Warwick Thumb Bolt-On 6-string bass. Made in Germany. This is a near-flawless piece with excellent upgrades. It comes with Bartolini CBC pickups, Bartolini 3-band preamp (new 1-module version), and two 3-way switches for series/parallel/bridge coil selection on each pickup. This setup allows for incredible versatility: you get a burpy Ken Smith type of tone when the pickups are in series or parallel, and you get the traditional Thumb tone when the pickups are in single-coil mode.The bass has been babied by me and kept in a smoke-free home. The neck is straight, the frets are in excellent condition, and there is no fret buzzing anywhere and no dead spots. The bass is set-up and ready to play out of the bag. I also installed Dunlop straplocks.
