There is not a single scratch, ding, dent, or wear mark anywhere on this horn. Compression is factory new. All slides move smoothly. This is a 'no apologies' horn. IT'S PERFECT. If you don't agree or you feel it's been misrepresented in any way, you're welcome to return it. This is a professional cornet. It's lacquer finish over gold brass (85% copper), .460 bore traditional shepherd's crook design with a standard wall 4.843 inch bell. Other than the valve casings and the receiver, all tubing of this horn is constructed of gold brass. Brand new, from a retailer, this horn (if you can find one) runs $1350 - 1500 U.S. dollars. With this horn reflecting showroom condition, it's a bargain vs. the retailers. besides the Carol Brass case, this sale will include a short shank Yamaha 11E4 deep-V mouthpiece.
