What makes this guitar special: Built by former Gibson luthiers in Kalamazoo, MI, these early model Heritage guitars are getting harder and harder to come by. They are built with the same, if not a better, level of craftsmanship than their Gibson contemporaries. The inspiration for this piece is patently obvious, but it plays phenomenally, with a terrific slim neck profile, and a full dual humbucker sound. It has been professionally setup by our expert in-house luthier, and will arrive ready to play right out of the case.Cosmetic condition: Great shape for its age, with expected playwear throughout. There are various scratches, nicks, dings, dents, scuffs, and chips throughout the instrument, with some light buckle rash and fret wear. Cosmetically, this guitar is about a 7/10.Body: Solid mahogany body with bound maple cap in black finish with cream colored pickguard and pickup bezels, chrome Schaller bridge, and stopbar tailpiece.Weight: 8 lb, 9.9 ozNeck: Slim tapered mahogany neck with white side dots and pearl dot inlays. Rosewood fingerboard is in terrific shape, and frets show only light wear, with a lot of life left in them. 1 11/16” nut width, 24 3/4" scale length. Chrome sealed Grover Deluxe tuners are in perfect working order. Neck is straight and truss rod works normally.Electronics: Dual Schaller humbuckers (Bridge-8.35K ohms, Neck-7.46K ohms) with 3-way pickup selector switch (switch tip is a replacement and switch is a little stiff but works perfectly) and black speed knobs, 2x volume, 2x tone.Case: Unoriginal hard shell case included.
