Description
Model: Les Paul Standard Brand: Gibson

Here is a Orville by Gibson G serial inked from 1990. Postage high as sent fully insured! It is in a used but good condition, it has no breaks and plays like a dream.. really it's the nuts. I have owned lots and lots of guitars, I've been on a mission to find the best and this is up there, so why am I selling, because I have decided to have another guitar hand made and aged by eternal guitars West Sussex. And the price of them are up there also..  I can't keep every thing so this is up for sale. By no means is this a give away price.. I am also happy to keep it longer! If you want an average les paul purchase a factory made Gibson, if you can afford custom shop then purchase that .. if you can't then this is what you are looking for... It is on par with Gibson custom shop .. No arguments.. it's the truth.. The Japanese hardware is quality and I have updated the original Tim Shaw pick ups, also for sale with Gibson custom buckers from a 2015 historic 58. So ... it's got some medium play wear.. but that's a good thing? It's been played because it's a great guitar. Only made for 10 years and this is early and top end, as good as OBG LPR. Going up in value and becoming rare, would not surprise me if it's worth more than a Gibson from the same year already, but definitely will be in the future. It's not mint, but a Gibson uk collection looks like this and it's 6k, ??? Gibson are robbing us lol. Top quality woods Long tenon, well in neck cavity Real solid rosewood board Custom buckers £350.00 alone unless your are very lucky. Original 26 year old vos hardware. Holly veneer headstock Nitro finish maybe? It's not poly but I don't think it's 50s USA style nitro, it's said that they all were nitro, I've had a few high end mij strats and Paul's, they aren't the same nitro as the uk and USA are used to that's for sure. But it's not plastic .... it's like Japanese nitro? Chips well but smells and taste different to others I've had that are definitely nitro. Doesn't and will not affect the sound whatsoever. Also with Gibsons best ever pafs that only come on top end gcs guitars, the sound is all day long historic Pio caps as well, one vol pot needs a clean but works. I can do this before it's shipped if it's a biggy. If you think that I'm talking rubbish then you have not owned enough guitars, it's that simple. If you want your mates to look at you with envy, buy a Gibson factory paul. But atleast get a trad! If you want your mates to hear you with envy and also look bloody cool then buy an Orville. Guitars are only right or nearly right, this and all Orville by Gibsons are right, full stop. Japanese builds are so much better than USA, don't pay the same money for a medium grade les paul. If you can afford custom shop then do that, but you will not be getting a better guitar just better street cred, and a lighter wallet. That is why I'm happy to have hand made guitars nowadays, I've resold everything that I've had.. now I know exactly what's what, for me anyway, I know what a great guitar is, and if it's a brand then it's custom shop and nothing else feels the same.. apart from high end Japanese guitars... it's not because of hype, it's original specs that made the guitar great in the 1st place... even the USA don't do that for standard factory items and haven't done for years.. Long tenon, proper neck angles, lighter un chambered woods that are dry when machined.. proper fingerboard, none of this. Baked maple and ritchlite rubbish!!!!! Even the inlays are better quality than the USA. Well worth a go, you won't be disappointed if you know what makes a Good guitar.. Any inspection welcome, I have 100% feedback and sell on average 15 guitars a year..  This is truly a great guitar with all the quality and mojo of a 3000£ instrument. Any test welcome, no movement on price as it's worth every penny.
