Up for auction is a Rare 1966 Rickenbacker Rose Morris 1997 model. Fireglo Finish over a beautifully figured Maple top, F- hole, Accent Vibrato, and two toaster pickups. An all original guitar. According to Richard Smiths Rickenbacker book there were less then 300 1997 models produced. With the British Music Invasion of the mid 60's in full swing, the Rose Morris Instrument Company of England approached Rickenbacker about distributing their instruments. An agreement was struck with the product line receiving new model numbers and some unique features such as the classic "F" hole instead of Rickenbacker standard cats eye soundhole. Included is the bridge cover, vibrato arm, and original hardshell case with replaced handle.Maryland buyers add 6% sales tax to purchase.
