1886 Conn Wonder Cornet - Key of Bb and A

Up for your consideration is a beautiful example of an 1886 Vintage Conn "Wonder" Cornet. This is one of my personal horns from my collection and was my father's. The horn seems to have a gold wash in the bell and some accents. It can be set up in the key of Bb and the key of A. It has the correct lead-pipes and slides for both keys. I'm not sure if this one was also a C horn or not. I have all the parts from my father for playing in the two keys. It has a nice sound. I had it professionally cleaned and checked out. The only thing I see missing is the socket for the marching lyre and the pull knob on the middle valve. The case is original as is the mouthpiece, mute and lyre. I'm selling it to raise money for my music program and if I can't get a good price I will be happy to keep it. It's a gem. There are a lot of pictures, please look at them all before bidding or purchase. I am a music/band teacher in Michigan and I am trying to raise some funds for the school year. All profits from your purchase will go to help my students. Because of this the item will be sold as is and no returns. I make no money off shipping charges.
