Top of the range Jarrah ply Brady snare in Tigerwood veneer. One of my all-time favourite snares, but with limited playing these days I just can't justify keeping it. This snare was part of Chris Brady's top line exotic veneer finishes for his 2007 range and jeez it just oozes quality. There is not a mark on the drum as I basically sold myself to the Devil to afford it and have treated it as gold since. Only used as a studio recording drum, but suits a full range of duties from light brush to full on thick stick back beat. It's articulate and sensitive to the lightest of touches from the edge of the snare right to the middle, but is never overwhelming. It's sound is somewhere else; it's true that there is only a Brady sound and I would say it has warmth of wood, but the attack of metal, which makes it a 'does all' snare. A true legendary sound that is almost indescribable. This had a metal Ron Dunnet snare mechanism fitted instead of the regular old woeful nickleworks throw-off (they were plastic rubbish), which allows the lever to throw off in any direction. Classy. A small tear is being shed as I write this, but I have to let this go, but at a respectable price which reflects the condition. Chris Brady is no longer making large amounts of drums anymore, due to his health, but he is still creating the odd drum for a very very large waiting list... and for a very high price. You won't see many for sale on eBay anymore as everyone is holding on to them. I'm keeping my other Brady ;-) International bidders welcome, but please ask for insurance delivery quote first or your bid will be deleted. Import duties are the responsibility of the buyer. Postage is high to cover insurance and quality of packing. Sorry, but your drum's comfort is important All sales are final and in reflection of the pictures present here, or on prior sale communications. Thanks, Nairn
