The topology is quite different to most other mic preamps in that it is balanced from input to output. The wide frequency response and fast transient response plus color from the output transformer generate a "warm sweet liquid" sound quality that sets it apart from that crowd. I searched and searched for a mic pre to record my daughter who has a very powerful dynamic detailed voice and I tried every pre that was talked up on the forums. For my needs your pre blew them all away including the Avedis MA5, Lachapell and the A Designs. Those pre's get talked up a lot and your pre is the best out of all of them. Clean and detailed with MOJO. More artists need to find out how great your work is...... A master piece. Thanks!
