Fender Stratocaster American Rare Early 90's Carona RARE 1991 - BLACK/MAPLE FRETBOARD- 22 FRETS- NEAR MINT
AWESOME VINTAGE EARLY 90'S COLLECTABLE STRAT This beautiful near mint condition USA American Series Stratocaster is a Fender Icon.this guitar was the first upgraded Standard Strat produced at the new Corona factory when it reopened in 1986.The Alder body is all original and has been in storage for the past 17 years,an awesome 26 year old vintage guitar, there are no scratches, dents,nicks or buckle rash, or any other blemishes, just a few finish marks.The neck is straight as an arrow and there is minimal fret wear,please check out the photos. The polyurethane Black finish is fantastic, and the hardware is also in mint condition.The neck date is Feb 11 1991,pots are 1991 all original with unmolested solder joint,the neck builder is D Chavaz premier builder of the 80's and 90's. The serial number is an E9 but it is actually a 1991.
The specs on this guitar are awesome and what Dan Smith described as basically a classic Vintage style guitar with modern improvements for it's time.I will list the specs for you, Light weight 7lb 11oz Alder body with Polyurethane finish sporting a "C" shape maple neck and beautiful Maple fingerboard sporting a 9.5 inch radius and 22 medium jumbo frets and the Pickguard and back cover are 3 ply white, as are the knobs and pickup covers adding to that vintage look of the 60's.The 3 American single coil pickups with flush pole pieces, small headstock, silver modern logo,4 bolt neck, chrome plated die cast tuning key with Fender stamp on the back cover and the stainless steel bridge saddles combine to make this a fantastic eighties strat with great chime and bell tones. These guitars are extremely well made and were not mass produced as they only had a small staff and only a few guitars a day were being produced, desperate to re establish themselves as quality guitar makers there was a lot of attention paid to detail with these models.
The original Fender case is also in excellent condition, and comes with strap, books, cloth,wrenches, and Tremolo arm. This Guitar has been setup with accurate intonation, truss rod adjusted and set with a low action and new strings, it sounds and looks fantastic, all you have to do is plug it in and enjoy it. listed at a low price be quick and don't miss out on this one.
