Here's The Run Down: This is A Super Cool & Awesome Playing 1985 Gibson Les Paul Double Cutaway XPL that is in very good condition over all for its age (see pics). It is in the cosmetic condition shown, so be sure to see all of the pics (see pics). I tried to take really good pics, so you can judge for yourself (see pics). It Original Finish is mildly aged with checking and yellowing of the alpine white finish. The neck and top are bound, but its hard to tell due to the finish discoloring. Its definitely a super cool looking guitar! There are NO signs of breaks or repairs. This guitar is completely original with the exception of the bridge, pickup rings/screws and long ago added Duncan 59 neck pickup. The Original Tim Shaw that dates 1985 is still in the bridge position and all pots are original and date 1984 A pick guard was never mounted to this guitar, so there are NO holes. The Original Finish does have some dings, chips and marks here and there as pictured, but still very respectable throwing off a cool Vintage Vibe. The hardware does show discoloration and wear as you would expect of a used vintage guitar. The neck is straight with a working truss rod and plays great from one end of the finger board to the other. There is some minor fret wear, and a chip in the clear on the neck binding around the 9th fret with a small minor discoloration of the rosewood, but plays perfectly as it sits (pictured).This 1985 Gibson LP DC XPL plays awesome! Although I think its set up great, everyone has their own preferences. If your not happy with its set up, it will be your responsibility and cost to have it set up to your liking. The included Included Hard Case is in decent usable condition. Cosmetically it does show signs of use and age. All latches and hinges work and are present. Everything operates as it should, and has never had, nor does it have any breaks or cracks unless noted above.
