My asking price of $2750 is a bargain for such an excellent sound guitar like this.
I believe that if this guitar bears a label with name of a well known European or American guitar maker, it would have a price tag of $7000-$9000.Except for one very slight fingernail scratch on the top below the soundhole, this Nishino guitar is in like-new condition. It has a beautiful charming sound. It has spruce top, South American rosewood back and sides, 650mm scale length, and 50mm nut width. The playability of this guitar is so very excellent. The action at the 12th is 2.5mm and 3.5mm for the 1st and 6th string respectively. This guitar has cashew finish which is as organic as French polish and is the preferred finish of most Japanese guitar makers, including Masaru Kohno and Masaki Sakurai.It comes with a good hard case.If you are not familiar with Nishino guitar, you can search for "The Classical Guitar of Tabei" on YouTube. Tabei is a professional Japanese classical guitarist. Besides, a 1937 Hauser, he also owns two Nishino guitars. In several youtube videos, he plays his 2000 and 2010 Nishino guitars. This 2007 Nishino guitar sounds similar to Tabei's excellent sounding 2010 Nishino (Bach BWV 1006 & other pieces). Please contact me if you have any questions.
