Very rare double pickup model. 17" single-cut hollow body with carved Spruce top and nicely figured Maple back and sides, all covered in a beautiful Sunburst finish. 5-piece neck, topped with a bound Ebony board with split-block inlays. Tone supplied by a pair of Mini-Humbuckers. Gold hardware, including 'Johnny Smith' tailpiece. Original pickguard has been replaced with a proper replacement and the bracket replaced with a homemade one. All else is original, including the electronics, with no mods, splits, breaks, or repairs. Guitar has basic play and age marks, but is in overall very good condition for its age, and has a ton of vintage vibe. A beautiful, great playing and sounding, vintage Gibson rarity.
