Vintage Circa 1961 Silvertone Model 1371 Hollowbody Electric Guitar.A great playing, sounding and looking example with two fantastic sounding DeArmond Speedbump pickups.The neck has a nice medium and round profile. It is on the slim side for a vintage Silvertone but certainly not a slim neck by todays standard. It has a nice comfortable feel and plays great for a Silvertone. It doesn't have the buttery smooth feeling of a Gibson but that is part of the charm and the tone of many of these old Silvertones. Original DeArmond pickups are incredibly warm, punchy and focused. Has a woody attack and an open, clear sustain with deep round lows and bright, jangly trebles. Excellent condition with some signs of normal, honest cosmetic wear.
Overall a very clean example considering it's age. Comes in the original soft shell case.Guitar is exactly as pictured.
