For sale is an Eastman Bowl Back Mandolin that I purchased in 2011. Condition: very good to excellent. Great for classical, celtic, and many other styles. The mandolin has easy action, projects well and has very good tone. Plays clean and clearly in low and higher octaves. Also sounds good on recording. Joints are tight and straight. The prior owner had the end frets near the sound hole scooped to eliminate any pick sound. Aesthetically this is barely noticeable. The back is perfect. There are no dings or cracks on the spruce or maple body. There was a tiny pin size scratch I noticed when I got it near to binding. I had a luthier look at it which he sealed. Position dots or markers are on side.

Nice mandolin to own and work with. The strings on it are Calace flat wound. Comes with hard shell case in yellow.
