This is a beautifully made Sterling silver flute (model GF-1000) with drawn tone holes, soldered C# and trill-key tone holes, ring keys and B foot - hand-built by the Taiwanese master flute-maker Geoffrey Guo. Everything is made of solid silver, also the keys and mechanism. There is no split-E mechanism.Serial number: 0623. Year of manufacture: 1991-2000. Pitch: A=442 Hz.I purchased this flute from a US webshop last summer, and I believe that this flute was maybe a display model. The pads are in pristine condition. I have been told that the building process of this model (and the GF-2000 flute) was inspired by Louis Lot, and the other French master flute-makers of his time.I no longer have the original GUO headjoint, because I quickly replaced it with a more powerful and much brighter sounding Yamaha Sterling silver headjoint. The Yamaha headjoint is even being equipped with a Robert Bigio delrin stopper and zirconium crown.
