Up for sale is my Axis AL2 "Classic Black" longboard double bass pedal. Originally imported from USA as hardly any stockists in U.K. Axis are renowned for build quality and the speed you can achieve with these pedals is quite something. Light studio use, did not want to really part with these but downsizing studio and drum room means they have to go.To import these new from the USA would easily cost hundreds extra on shipping and import duties.Pedals are in lovely condition and come with Alan keys, pedal hard-case and drum key.Collection welcome but postage can be arranged, item is heavy though hence the shipping cost. Thanks for looking, any questions feel free to ask me...The Axis AL2CB Classic Black Double Bass Drum Pedal is made from Aircraft grade lightweight aluminum and features a black anodized finish with the original Axis 20th Century color scheme on a longer scale. The Axis Longboards extend the usable footboard area by 2 inches. This greatly increases leverage and power by allowing the entire leg to be powerfully expressed with the utilization of heel-toe strokes. There is no chain on this pedal, instead there is a metal ball bearing linkage which means there is no energy consumed by a chain folding and jumping. With the Variable Drive Lever you can change the shape of the cam to make it feel like any other pedal while still getting all of the other benefits. A new and improved drive shaft linkage is specifically designed to maintain the ball bearing action. Universal joints offer a Zero Backlash design which transfers the power directly from the slave side to the primary side with maximum transfer torque, rebound, and sensitivity. The Heavy Duty Self Centering spring assembly allows for easy pedal adjustments.
