1960 Fender Jazzmaster Body
Up for auction is a circa 1960 Fender Jazzmaster Body. I have had some parts from this Jazzmaster for years and it is time to let them go. The pots from this guitar have a 1959 dated Volume Pot and 1960 dated Tone Pot. The serial number plate was 44XXX which all suggest a 1960 production date. The body was refinished Black years ago and then stripped with an amateur clear coat applied. The body has no cracks. It weighs in at 4.3 pounds. There is some wear and tear along with some sanding lines from past finish work. The bridge mounts have been changed to a threaded post. I have included a picture of the pots for dating purposes. This auction is for the body only. This would make a great vintage project. Winning bidder has three days to contact me or I reserve the right to sell the item elsewhere.
