For sale this beautiful instrument. According to last owner this is Gibson model of 1934, L5 archtop custom built for Beare & Son, Toronto. ( I'm NOT expert in this field - do your own research, sold as is - where is). Original 2 labels are present inside: One label is "B & S Master, London, England Est. 1865, Toronto Canada".Second label is " Custom Built for Beare & Son, Toronto Canada" .This guitar is in very good condition considering age. Few minor scratches to the body. A true collector's piece !These have been long discontinued and very small numbers exist today. I almost never see them come for sale.The Gibson ultimate evolution of this stunning archtop acoustic guitar. Every effort is made to retain perfect detailing. The top made from the high-grade spruce. High-grade maple back and sides. Select maple neck and rosewod?? fingerboard with white bone inlay front and back - see image. Alongside such constructional considerations, details like the elongated bound pickguard, hand-rubbed?? Cremona Brown finish, open-back tuners, Headstock marked "Made IN USA".Top inlay with fine exotic woods make it virtually indistinguishable from the L-5 Gibson was producing at the height of the big-band era.
