I bought this guitar new in 2013 and never played it. I planned to bring it with me to BB King's final tour concert, in February 2014, at San Rafael California, USA, the Marin Veterans Memorial Auditorium. I hoped I would get the chance to ask Mr. BB King to autograph it for me. I hadn't seen him perform since 1974. The stars aligned. I had front row seats. When I entered the theater carrying my guitar, security assumed I was in the band and let me in without even checking my tickets! I sat through the most loving and lovely performance and at the end, after the encore, I climbed out of my seat holding my Lucille over my head, moving quickly toward BB stage left. His security people all were shaking their heads "NO!" at me and saying stuff like "Hell no! Get back!" And then BB King said over the microphone: "Son, is that Lucille?" And I said in a loud joyful voice "Yes sir, it is!" And he said "Well bring her here, son." And I handed the guitar over many heads and other hands moved her to the stage and his security took my Lucille and handed her to BB King along with my gold metallic permanent marker. BB smiled broadly and caressed the guitar, kissed it, and signed his name in metallic gold. He then handed the guitar back to me, and got up and left. I'm including the show tickets, the show tour t-shirt (size men's L - Large, never worn), and a card of four BB King concert souvenir guitar picks, all of which I purchased at the concert. Sadly BB King became too ill to complete this final tour, and had to leave the stage of his own House of Blues Club in Chicago, in October 2016. This is one of the very last guitars he ever signed. Out of respect for this blessing and provenance, I never have played this guitar. It is new, mint, gleaming. There is one small, circular, shaky scratch pattern on the black electronics cover plate on the back of the guitar. To me it looks like BB King buckle rash. Another blessing. Will ship safely worldwide and insure properly. I hate to let her go but my spouse just died, I have to move and need the money for funeral expenses and to help me relocate.
