Up for sale is this great Epiphone 1958 Korina Explorer Electric Guitar. The Korina Explorer was light years ahead of its time when it was first introduced in 1958. With its angular, asymmetrical body and pointed headstock, the Explorer was unlike any guitar available. In fact, the Explorer was such a radical departure that only around 100 of the famed instruments were produced at the legendary Kalamazoo factory. What few have survived are now highly prized collectibles that sell for half a million dollars or more. Now, Epiphone brings back the one-of-a-kind legend in all its original glory made from beautiful Korina. FEATURES Korinia body Mahogany set-in neck Rosewood fingerboard 24-3/4" scale Alnico Classic humbuckers 2 vol, 1 tone control 3-way pickup switch LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece for more sustain and easier string changing Gold hardware When this guitar came through the refurbishing center where I purchase all my instruments from the licensed technician who looked it over could not find anything wrong with it. It is in perfect working and playing condition. Aside from one little ding in the clear coat on the back of the body it is in perfect cosmetic condition. The guitar was given a nice setup and is ready to be played. Shipping cost will be free to the US, $64 to Canada and $124 to all other countries. The guitars are sent to the Wholesaler for a variety of reasons including the following: Overstock, Discontinued stock, Store returns or minor repairs. If the guitar needs attention upon arrival at the Warehouse, it is inspected and repaired by a team of highly skilled and licensed Luthier’s and restored to factory specs. After the inspection and or repair has taken place the guitar is stamped lightly on the back of the headstock "Used" to avoid fraudulent warranty claims from dishonest sellers and a new serial number is applied. Through this unique process we are able to pass along a significant savings and offer these great instruments at a discounted price!
