AKA the "Affordable Strad "! A rare chance to own this stunning trumpet in silver plate. Constructed around a Stradivarius valve block the Omegas were compared favourably to the more expensive Strad. As far as I know the major differences are, a 2 piece bell construction, adjustable 3rd valve slide ring and lack of bracing on the tuning slide. This large bore trumpet has a big powerful sound that would suit a big band or function band situation. And the KGU trim kit (raw brass and included in sale)really puts precision into the articulation. The original Bach caps and finger buttons are included. You will notice from the pictures that the buttons are an odd set. There is also a small dent where the bell joins the valve block. Apart from these 2 bad points everything works as it should. Complete with original case which has both keys and carry handles .The serial number and beautifully engraved bell date the trumpet to around 2002. A great year for Omegas.
