16" 1051g
14" top 869g
14" bottom 905gThis matched set of 1970s Hollow Logo Avedis cymbals came complete with an early 70s drum set I purchased. The only flaw of the cymbal set is a small keyhole on the 16" crash. That means no cracks, dings, or dents. The overall set condition is closer to excellent than VG. The weight class of each cymbal is very desirable. There is the presence of visible hammering on each pie of this mellow set. The set has aged nicely evidenced in the patina and the overall dark sound. When played together, it is clear that these cymbals hold a relationship as a set. Matched sets are rare and there is real value here. Check around for similar weights and quality, this deal cannot be beat!Cymbals here are never polished for resale. If some appear so, it was either very clean to begin with or it was the work of a prior owner. Natural cymbal patina is very important to some musicians who prefer a darker, more complex, vintage sound. Those who seek a more bright sound, with a fresh brilliant look, might do well by cleaning their cymbals. ("Left the circle, right the circle.")The cymbals listed on Antelope Music are mostly vintage and can be up to 70 years old. As a result, there will be original foundry imperfections and signs of wear however only the most glaring defects might be listed or shown. Quality and rarity will be reflected in the condition rating and price. Cracked or significantly damaged cymbals are not sold by Antelope Music. Lastly, cymbal sizes are rounded to the nearest inch. Cymbal weight is done by scale and year/era/model dating is done through a lot of research however both should only be considered an approximation.Images also serve as product description. Contact as needed with questions prior to purchase. Buyer must complete payment at time of purchase. Product may also be listed on additional sites. Presently, shipping is only available within the continental US. 6.85% Tax including shipping for buyers in UT, US.Due to the nature and complexity of musical instrument resale, Antelope Music does not accept returns on purchases. All items are sold "as-is". Thanks for looking. Please check out Antelope Music for additional new, used, and vintage musical instruments and gear.
