Jim Cairnes Burns Colt Gun Shape Peacemaker Electric Guitar Rare Made In EnglandWe have admired this guitar in our shop in London for the last 10 years and its now time to find it a new home.We will hand deliver this guitar to UK main land and for abroad sales please contact us.Well before Pick Geek guitar picks, many years ago, in what now seems to have been another life in the north east of England, we had an amazing guitar maker work with us, namely Jimmy Cairnes. Jimmy was known for creating the Colt guitar, based on the Colt 45 gun, as seen above. The US country band, Billy Jo Spears all turned up in the guitar shop one day and bought a Colt for their tour. Jimmy also made custom guitars for the likes of Chris Rea, The Shadows and The Eagles, as well as many others. As a keen young guitar player, what I really loved about Jimmy's hand-made guitars was the exceptional feel of the necks and the top quality fret work, just brilliant.
