This is a DEERING MAPLE BLOSSOM BANJO, made in 2002. It is in excellent shape with no issues at all. Comes with a Deering hard case, has original paperwork as well. If you are looking at this you know that these banjos are just flat out awesome. They play extremely well, with clear tones all the way up the neck and really remarkable sustain. Deerings hold their value better than most other brands because they are simply great banjos. Made in the USA.
This is a very clean and well taken care of banjo. Very glossy. Resonator is free of usual scratches and whatnot, very glossy and beautiful. Has one railroad spike for 5th string. 11" head, 1 piece flange. Slight playing wear to head as you can see, slight wear on armrest. Rest of hardware in great shape. There is a very tiny nick on the edge of the headstock, see photo. Also a tiny white spot, not a chip, on the back of the neck toward the pot. I only ever noticed these when I was examining it for sale, they are so minor. I have played this banjo a lot, but only in my house.Shipping to lower 48 USA will be free.
