Hello and thank you for looking. Up for sale is this beautiful and lightly used Steinway & Son’s “Model F” 88- key, Studio Upright piano (with bench) constructed of mahogany with a satin luster finish measuring 45”. The piano is a two pedal model dated to 1976 via the Serial Number (#445464 – all 1976 series pianos started with 445***). Although not reconditioned this piece has been meticulously kept and maintained and rarely played (less than once a year) – the biggest flaw to note is some fading on the back from sun exposure – other than that the piece is in exceptional condition. It has been professionally inspected by a Los Angeles area piano appraiser (contact information can be provided to seriously inquiries) and provided the following input: Date of Inspection: November 15th, 2016 Steinway F Serial #445464 Studio console upright *Keys: all functioning (tunable) *tuning pins (holding, feel very strong) *torque/ pressure of hammers (Excellent) *Exterior condition (excellent) *Hammers (excellent condition) *Strings (very good condition) Estimated value: $11,000 Craftsman Piano of New York has a similar model from the same year listed at $7,500 as a “wholesale” cost. This piece is ready to play (perhaps short of a minor tuning which any piano should get following a move).
