Vintage 1968 Traynor YGM-3 Guitar Mate Reverb 1x12 EL84 Amp
Estimated price for orientation: 600 $
Category: Guitar Amplifiers
Class:
Description Brand: Traynor Model: YGM-3 Exact Year: 1969 Country/Region of Manufacture: Canada
Here's a great (and relatively cheap) way to get your hands on an excellent EL84 style guitar amplifier. This amp was handwired in Toronto, Canada in 1969. Since then, it's come across the nation to Texas and has been in my possession for about 7 years. Keep in mind, Traynors are known for their durability. This a difficult amp to let go of.Check it out online, but these amps are known to sound somewhere between a Fender Deluxe and Marshall Plexi. The speaker was upgraded from the original to a 12" fender speaker to pull off the fender sound a little more authentically. EL84 driven. It's loaded with a real spring reverb tank, which sounds fantastic. Crank that reverb up and surf away. Condition is about 6/10, but for an almost 50 year old amp, it's in great working and playing condition. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I try to be as responsive as possible. Thanks for considering,Blake
