The body is Ron Kirn’s favorite tone wood of Paulownia, a Japanese instrument wood used for the best traditional instruments in Japan for 100s of years. The Pickups are custom wound by Ron. Great tone & feel.It is light and very comfortable with contours built in.
I paid over $2300 to build this and waited 2 months The price reflects extra charges for:+ Custom paint color + Paulownia body - (lightweight yet great tone)+ Schaller locking tuners + Upgraded hardware - volume, tone knobs & pickup switcher+ Bridge and control plate were custom finished to match the satin tuners We worked at getting a really beautiful color for the Daphne BlueIt all works together and looks amazing
