Original owner of this Yamaha YTR-737 purchased from Giardinelli when the store was on 46th St in Manhattan. I was told it was made in the Schilke factory by the sales rep. The original case emblem indicates Yamaha U.S.A. Serial number ends in A as well. Because of Renold Schilke's consulting relationship with Yamaha, the 700 series were based on the Schilke specifications so this is essentially the classic B5 (.460 ML) with the step bore. It is in excellent condition with original silver plate fully in-tact and strong compression on all three valves. Only nicks is a small dent on the 2nd valve slide and one very small ding along the bell. None of this affects the playability of the horn. There is very little wear for a horn from the late 70’s. Its predecessor was the YTR-734 with the Yamalloy valve material issue for some players.Original case is in excellent condition with key for the locks. Shipping with the case will be $29.99 (case is heavier than the horn). If you don’t need the case, shipping will be $20.00 for just the trumpet. If you're near NYC, please come by and play the horn.
