What makes this guitar special: An early 80’s “lawsuit” model, with tons of charm and a great look. As Japanese-made models go, this one has about as cool a vibe as any of them out there. The solid sycamore top provides fabulous resonance, while the D shaped birch neck is quick and comfortable, especially in tandem with the nicely variegated rosewood fingerboard. This piece is very well constructed-it’s technically a bolt-on, with multiple mounting areas, both at the back of the guitar and in the neck pickup cavity. This piece comes professionally setup by our in-house luthier, so it plays and sounds terrific. Cosmetic condition: Very good shape for its age-there are various scratches, nicks, dents, dings, and scuffs throughout, as well as some very light fretwear. Binding shows various signs of age, with visible shrinking all around, and one small area of shipping on the cutaway horn. Overall, this piece has a really neat look to it with a beautiful patina.Body: Solid mahogany body with bound flamed sycamore top in vibrant cherry sunburst finish. Gold-plated Supermatic bridge with individually adjustable saddles and “noble” cast on the underside. Weight: 8 lb, 5.4 ozNeck: 3-piece poplar neck with double bound dark rosewood fingerboard, black side dots, and mother-of-pearl block inlays. 1 11/16” nut width, 24 3/4" scale length. Headstock features a black overlay with gold-sealed Aria Pro II tuners, in perfect working condition. Neck is straight, action in great, and the truss rod works as it should.Electronics: Dual humbuckers (Bridge-8.5K ohms, Neck-8.23K ohms) with 3-way pickup selector switch and grooved gold-plated knobs, 1x tone, 1x volume.Case: Vintage premium chipboard case.
