By thermally aging the soundboard, Gibson is able to replicate the aging process on a cellular level, giving the Hummingbird Vintage an authentic vintage sound and aesthetic. Also adding to its traditional appeal, the Hummingbird Vintage is adorned with a Vintage Cherry Sunburst lacquer finish to re-create that faded, vintage appearance of an original Cherry Sunburst finish that's aged gracefully for over 50 years.
