What makes this guitar special: A now out of production guitar, with fantastic playability and awesome tone. A familiar favorite of players for decades, the stripped down LP Junior is a no-nonsense piece with terrific tone courtesy of a single P90 pickup and a resonant mahogany body. The neck feel on this piece is terrific, ensuring maximum playability up and down the length of the comfortable rosewood fingerboard. It comes professionally inspected and setup by our in-house luthier, so you can be sure it’ll arrive ready to play right out of the case. All you have to do is tune it!Cosmetic condition: This guitar was obviously someone’s go-to and shows some wear as a result, but all the wear is purely cosmetic and none of it affects playability. It has various scratches, nicks, dents, dings, and scuffs, along with some buckle rash on the back and finish wear on the top where the arm rests. Frets show some light wear, but still have a great deal of life left in them.Body: Single cutaway mahogany body in faded cherry finish with single ply black pickguard and wraparound stopbar bridge.Weight: 7lb, 12.2ozNeck: Medium profile mahogany neck with white side dots and pearl dot inlays. Rosewood fingerboard is in great shape, and while frets show some light wear, they still have a ton of life in them. 1 11/16” nut width, 24 3/4" scale length. Headstock features a black overlay with gold Gibson logo and Gibson Deluxe vintage style tuners with white buttons in perfect functioning condition. Neck is straight and truss rod works as it should.Electronics: Single P90 single coil pickup (8.26K ohms) in the bridge position with black tophat knobs, 1x volume, 1x tone.Case: Roadrunner hard shell case included.
