Description Product Description We do love them all, but some we just love a little more. This newest addition to the Sam Ash vintage guitar collection is a case in point. This insanely clean 1956 Esquire has the whole Guitars of Distinction crew in an uproar. This beauty is as well-kept as Christie Brinkley (who is actually 2 years older than our Fender Esquire). We all have heard that beauty is much more than nitrocellulose deep, and this is especially the case with this 100% original no stories/excuses twang monster. From the side-pocket tweed case and from headstock to endpin, she is unaltered from the day it left Fullerton, California to today. The 60-year-old Esquire celebrates its birthday in March, and does not betray its years by appearance. The vain one pickup version of the Telecaster/Broadcaster does it all with less. One pickup, tons of sonic greatness.Lots of times case queens like this Esquire are not as good an instrument as the ones we find that have worked for a living all their lives. This is not the case here. All 7.9 pounds of ash, mildly figured chunky maple neck, and single pickup scream, spank, sparkle, and snap with the best examples that we've ever heard. One helluva great player, too. Low action with no fret outs or buzzing, which does not come along with the price of admission if you are a Tele player. Must be seen, played, and heard to be believed.Get this super clean Vintage 1956 Esquire Electric Guitar from Sam Ash Direct today. With over nine decades of experience in the music retail business, Sam Ash is the ultimate destination for players and collectors alike who want to find the used or vintage instrument of their dreams.
