This listing is for a really cool Used-Vintage Gibson ES-Artist Thinline Electric Guitar. This guitar was made in the USA by Gibson in 1980. The guitar has been professionally Set Up and is playing and sounding great. The neck is straight and the action is low and comfortable and the guitar plays smoothly and easily. This model has very interesting and unique active electronics which are working really nicely. The guitar has three mini toggles for built in compression, expansion and bright switch along with master volume, master treble and master bass knobs. The three way switch is the typical pickup selector switch.The tuners on the guitar have been changed and replaced with Grover's and the original T-6 fine tuning tailpiece is missing along with the pickguard. The guitar shows a good amount of cosmetic wear and tear and heavy play wear. The guitar has no breaks or repairs but the sunburst finish has a lot of caked on play wear and the binding is showing really heavy wear and has yellowed considerably. The guitar also shows a fair amount of nicks, dings and scratches on the body and neck. Please look at the pictures and email with questions. The guitar comes as pictured with it's original hard shell case and will be expertly packed for safe shipping. I am happy to ship internationally but will not falsify customs documents.
