Purchased this amp in December 2016 as an in-store demo from Sweetwater. I enjoy this amp a great deal, but I decided to be brutally honest about my amp collection and realized that I have a Princeton Reverb and a Vibrolux Reverb, so this just seems like a luxury, though what a luxury it is. Oh well, I've already done enough to it to make it unreturnable, so I'm looking to sell. The following changes have been made:Speaker was changed to an alnico Eminence Red Fang. The amp came with a stock Celestion Alnico Blue, which is a really great speaker, but it's rated for 15W. I just thought that if I care about the long term health of this amp, it should have a speaker which is rated to take the 22W output. The Eminence Red Fang retains a lot of the flavor of the Alnico Blue (though it sounds different) but gives you greater watt handling.Note to buyer: if you so choose, I also have an alnico Jensen P12Q (reissue, not vintage) lying around. If you so choose, it would be no problem for me to install the P12Q into the amp rather than the Red Fang before I ship the amp out. Please let me know if you would prefer it that way. The Red Fang is a more robust, has a bigger sound, is more efficient, has a British flavor, and really holds together at higher volumes, but there's a certain charm that the P12Q has as well. The P12Q sounds more Fender-like, breaks up earlier, and makes the amp a lot lighter (in terms of physical weight), too. So there are advantages to both amps. It's your choice, either way. My personal choice is Jensen P12Q, but I've listed the amp with the Red Fang as that speaker is closer to the stock Alnico Blue (which is not available currently). In the Vibrato channel, the 47 pF ceramic disc cap referred to as the "bright cap" was unsoldered and removed. This is probably the most common circuit modification done to these amps, makes it behave a lot nicer at lower volumes, and that's already been done.14" Fender tilt-back legs were installed. These work really well and make the amp much easier to hear, since legs don't have ears.Stock Fender nail-in metal glides were replaced with solid rubber feet. These feet are a lot nicer at isolating the amp from vibrations and will not scratch wood floors.I will be shipping with the original product box. Also included are the manual, the 2-button footswitch, fitted cover.Product Description
