Set of TWO (2) Silvertone / Danelectro 1448 Guitars + 2 Tube Amp Cases 1960's Black Sparkle Made in USA Selling this set of 2 Danelectro 1448 guitars with tube amp cases. Guitars and amp cases are at least 50 years old and have general wear associated with items of this vintage. There are dings, dents, scratches, etc. • Amps and guitars work • Guitars will need new strings and setups • Amp cases may need cleaning/light servicing too Guitars: Both guitars are complete and working (one pick guard screw missing). One of the guitars has the most sparkle I've ever seen on one of these and also has the older style tuners with white buttons (instead of the all metal "skate key" tuners) and it also has 2 neck screws in back (instead of 3). The super sparkle guitar has a crack in the pickup but it still works. Also the super sparkle guitars "low E" tuner button looks like it was glued on; it is holding string in tune but may need TLC. The other guitar is playable as is and looks great too. In fact, it is pretty much ready to go and was used in the video I posted. General wear on both guitars but very clean overall. Necks are straight, frets have life left. Everything works as it should. Both could use new strings and general set up to personal preference. Amp Cases: Both amp cases are very clean with general wear and one has the cleanest, shiniest silver hardware on it although it is missing one of the fastening latches. All Silvertone tubes except for one but it's also a vintage USA made tube. All tubes have been tested GOOD and strong on my tube tester. One of the amp speakers had a small repaired patch in the speaker (still works). Both cases have working handles, latches (one latch missing) and hinges and also have the interior metal brace to keep the two sides together. Both amps could use cleaning and/or light service to look and perform their best. General wear and tear. Both guitars and amps work but may need a little TLC or setup for best results.
