1-800-800-0087 What makes this guitar special: Complete with a variety of period-correct appointments designed in part by Chet Atkins himself, this Vintage Select Tennessee Rose is the perfect blend of modern stability and vintage nuance. Its slim hollow body is a great separation from more traditional big-bodied builds, lending itself a bit more playability without losing the tonal touches of its general construction. The root of its sound stems from its body combined with a pair of HiLo-Tron pickups that embody old-school jazzbox tone with dry pop and snap yet still have jangle and body to round out their overall character. Some of these elements translate acoustically as well, as this guitar has pleasant inherent resonance that not only provides a bit of acoustic volume, but makes it a pleasure to play overall. Aesthetically, the figuring of its maple body may seem subtle from afar, but shows quite a bit more character up close, and looks that much better under a rich Dark Cherry Stain finish. Plus, this guitar is still in fantastic shape for being used and comes with a professional in-house setup so it plays as great as it sounds. Cosmetic Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. It shows only very light surface scratches and a very minor ding here or there but is otherwise in fantastic shape for a used guitar. The frets show almost no wear whatsoever and still have a lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions perfectly. The electronics have been fully tested and all function as they should. Body: Single cutaway hollow body with laminated maple top, back and sides in Dark Cherry Stain finish. Single-ply top binding.
