Here we have a very rare Gibson SJ-200 12-string acoustic guitar!As I'm sure you've noticed, there are not many 12-string SJ-200s in the world. They're very few-and-far-between. This is a beautiful example of Gibson's finest work building 12-strings.The maple on this guitar is excellent! Look at the gorgeous quilty flame. Love it! The top is fine grain Sitka spruce.I've always loved the 60's style pearl-inlaid mustache bridges used on the old SJ-200s. They're quite rare now. It's one of my favorite features on this guitar.This guitar is in excellent playing condition. Body has the typical finish checking expected at this age (one area of the top has a bit more than usual, but most is very mild). Body has some minor marks and light scratches, but nothing major. Still presents extremely well. There is a slight belly on the top near bridge, which is to be expected on a 12-string of this age. The action and playability are great.The tone is everything you dreamed an SJ-200 12-string would be: plenty of bass response, loads of volume, and crystal clarity from the maple tonewoods.Included with the guitar is the original hardshell case.
