made at the Nashville Plant, TN, USA October 16th, 1997 Production #: 110 If you can’t agree with my terms for this auction please do not bid. Gibson Les Paul Double Cutaway (DC). I purchased this guitar from the original owner, Steve Kerwin, who was guitarist & singer for Milwaukee band, The Reponse, for more than 10 yrs. and it has been played across the country. Background: Bought originally from Wade's Guitar shop, (Milwaukee). It’s upgraded with a Seymour Duncan '59 (Bridge) & Seymour Duncan Phat Cat (Neck). Sperzel locking tuners, a TonePros locking wraparound bridge and a Planet Waves gold input jack. It plays and sounds amazing- very solid and great intonation for just a regular wrap bridge. It has plenty of dinks and doinks and some rash. (Played well but always had 'guitar appreciation days', so it was tuned up and cleaned often.) Most noticeable is a rash on the right edge near the controls, some finish rubbed away on the opposite side and two indents on the back of the neck near the 1st and 2nd frets (from leaning up against amps), & other small dinks & doinks none of which affect playability or sound - no cracks or issues with body, neck, or electronics. It comes with an SKB hard case that has seen some rough times and has a few holes and cracks that have been covered with duct tape but still protects great. I have a letter from USPS basically stating For A Shipping Claim To Be Valid It MUST Be Filed By The Buyer. So I don’t refund out of pocket for shipping damage.
