What makes this guitar special: Another one of Gibson’s flagship models, finished in a gorgeous black, set tastefully against an all-gold hardware package. This piece is incredibly resonant, providing the trademark Les Paul sound…full, ringing, and crisp. The richlite fingerboard is quick and smooth, working hand in hand with the terrific medium-chunky neck profile. With a professional setup from Cream City Music included, you can be sure this beauty will arrive ready to play right out of the case.Cosmetic condition: Great shape for its age! There are visible surface and playwear scratches throughout the instrument, including a few on the top behind the bridge and a handful of larger scratches on the back of the body. Beyond these, there are just some light dings, nicks, and dents, visible under particular lighting. At some point in the past, the tuners were replaced by a previous owner. We have since put a new set of gold Grovers on to put it back to original, but there are small holes drilled under the tuners from the previously installed set. Overall, this guitar is a cosmetic 7.5/10. Body: Solid double bound mahogany body in black finish with maple cap. Ivoroid binding and multi-ply black/white pickguard with black pickup bezels. Gold Tune-O-Matic bridge and gold stopbar tailpiece.Weight: 9 lb, 15 ozNeck: Medium, semi-chunky mahogany neck with double bound richlite fingerboard, black side dots, and pearl block inlays. Fingerboard is in terrific shape, and frets show only light wear, with a ton of life left in them. 1 11/16” nut width, 24 3/4" scale length. Ivoroid bound headstock with pearl Gibson and split diamond inlays. Vintage style Les Paul Custom truss rod cover. Gold Grover tuners function perfectly. Neck is straight and truss rod is fully functional.Electronics: 490R (7.29K ohms) and 498T (8.52K ohms) humbuckers with 3-way pickup selector switch and black speed knobs, 2x volume, 2x tone.Case: Unoriginal brown Gibson hard shell case. The original certificate is not included with this instrument.
