Description
Country/Region of Manufacture: United States Exact Year: 1964
Brand: Fender Model: Super Reverb

This is an exceptional, player's grade, original 1964 Blackface Super Reverb, with all the mojo, fatness, warmth and power you can imagine.  This amp was discovered about 8 years ago in my friend's aunt's attic and was restored to glory by renowned NYC amp and hifi guru, Blackie Pagano (searchable via google).
There are 4 original, Fender-branded speakers, original grill cloth (which has that badass wear and tear that only the old real-deal amps have), all original transformers, vibrato pedal and chassis.
Not sure who the Miles of "Miles Road" reference is, but this amp was clearly someone's road amp for a number of years.  Caps have been changed, reverb tank and tremolo restored to their heavenly-toned days of yesteryear, and power cord has been updated to a 3 prong.  Tube chart dates the amp to December 1964, making this one of the earliest Super Reverbs I've ever seen.
The bottom end of this amp is something that has to be heard and felt to be believed. Great clean headroom until you hit about "8" on the dial and then it starts to break up beautifully.
Despite its cosmetic imperfections (which I have tried to capture in the various photos), this amp is a tone chaser's dream that will excel in the studio and continue to stand up to the rigors of the road, should you choose to gig and tour with it. I have loved every second of owning this amp but I'm moving onto some new gear (as well as my first child) and I'd like to see it go to someone who will play it and enjoy it as I have. Local pickup preferred if possible but will ship.
