1973 Maton Wedgtail, serial # 203.  This is one of the rarest guitars out there and pretty well sought after.  This guitar is left-handed but set up to play right handed (it’s very well suited for this).  All it took was swapping the nut and flip-flopping the bridge saddles.  The right handed nut is not glued in but it could be, should you decide to leave it.  If left-handed setup is desired, I’d be glad to swap it back.  The tremolo arm is missing and the trem has been disabled by removing the spring ( original spring is included ).  The guitar plays and sounds fantastic.  Neck functions as it should, action can be set as desired, width at the nut is 1 -11/16” and has a chunky C type profile.  The frets and fretboard show very little wear at all.  Guitar functions electronically as it should.  There are two hair-line cracks showing at the neck pocket (clearly pictured).  These cracks do not impact the playability, nor do they compromise the body’s integrity, they are stable, more cosmetic than structural.  The guitar shows signs of normal wear and tear (clearly pictured).  The lacquer on these guitars is thin like 50’s fender.  This is a rare guitar and one of the coolest body shapes of all time.  There are no repairs, this guitar is all original.  Comes with soft case, which protects and fits it well.  Serial WX 203Free delivery to lower 48 with Buy It Now.
