Friends we searched high and low to find these subs. They have become very hard to find because once you try them, you will never sell them and you will snag whatever you can find. We have been told that these could be the last unused cabinets on the planet. -- These are factory repacks. That usually means they were displayed at a trade show or used as a sales demo. It does have a few scuff marks. Nevertheless The micro wedge line has quickly become one of the flagship leaders in the EAW collection. It would take me all day to tell you just some of the cool features the micro wedge sub offers. Don't take my word for it. There is a great video on you tube by Dave from Rat Sound. He is the rockstar that the rock stars use for their sound. --Search Dave Rat EAW MicroSub 15. Long story short, This design actually enables you to shape low end. The box can be configured in a multiple of different ways, each one sounding better than the next. One of the many specific uses is as a subwoofer for a stage monitor. Simply place you wedge (whatever brand) on top of it. The super low profile of the sub makes this a real easy fit. In this orientation, the 15" driver is pointing upward at an angle; pointing it directly at you. The box also works great as a sub for the main PA as well. It has a pole socket for easy elevation of your mid/high box. You can see in the photos there are many handle cutouts, as well as a number of "feet pockets." This allows multiple boxes to be arrayed in the most effective way possible. Again, PLEASE check out Dave's video. Stand the box up as the best drum sub you have ever used. --- Lay 2 down on opposite ends and it will behave like a "W" bin. --- Stand it up facing the audience, you have a killer sub that is only about 13" deep. Never before has so much low end control been available with this quality at this price point. You can easily switch from a longer throw more narrow pattern to a wider coverage that stays in front of the stage where you want it. Tons of options all in 1 box, legendary EAW sound, compact high output-- done deal. a 4th brand new unit is available but not included.
