Out of all the ukelele banjo's that the famous performer George Formby played this was his preferred instrument. The Abbot 'Monarch'. This is a custom made ukelele banjo replica of it made by Eric Beharrell. Also NB: this is the only gold plated version he has ever made. Eric has signed the vellum - see photos Correctly set up for the low action George Formby playing style. A lovely looking instrument that has hardly been played. I have had this for about four months. Only selling this as I now have now acquired a Ludwig Wendell Hall professional ukelele banjo. The Abbott cost me nearly £1200, plus new case.
