This is rare Guild F 47 MCE Acoustic/Electric guitar made in the USA and assembled by Fender at their Corona, California plant. Guild guitars were assembled in Corona from 2001 until 2004 when Guild moved operations to Tacoma. I've tried to date this guitar online using the serial number (CUR 000250) but have not been able to find a definitive source of information to be certain. So the best I can do is confirm that it was assembled at the Corona plant between 2001 and 2004. If anyone can provide a definitive year of manufacture, please pass it along and I'll update the listing. The guitar is a great player and in excellent overall condition with the usual signs of wear, such as pick scratching, several small indents and some checking, all of which I've tried to show in the photos. There is a small piece of what appears to be tape adhesive (1.5" x 2") on the backside below the strap button that was there when I bought the guitar. I am not sure how to remove without harming the finish, so I will let the next owner do that. There no cracks or repaired cracks. The case seen in the pictures is banged up but still functional. Two latches on the front work and there are no odors. Here are the specs: Top - Solid Spruce Back - Solid Maple Sides- Laminated Maple Neck - Mahogany Fretboard - Rosewood Electronics - Fishman Prefix Pro Blend Finish - Nitrocellulose Lacquer I hate to let this one go but am downsizing the collection and it's time for a new home where it will continue to be played and appreciated. Please review the pictures and ask questions. Additional photos will be provided if requested.
