Up for sale is this 1992 Stevie Ray Vaughan Fender Stratocaster.

The guitar is in near mint condition, with only extremely minor flaws from occasional, light playing.
The serial number would normally indicate a 1990 year of production. However, most of the earliest SRV Stratocaster's have serial numbers for a 1990-1991 production date. However, SRVs death slowed the release of these guitars, and they did not come out to the public until around 1992.
This one has a neck date of March 17, 1992, making it very early in their general production run.
The guitar will ship housed in an original 1990s Fender tweed case. It's in very good shape, although not quite as clean as the guitar. The two pieces of leather on the handle have begun to separate a little, but it is all fully functional and sound.
Everything else about the guitar is excellent. I even think the original factory strings are on this guitar. If you were going to get extremely nitpicky, you would find the following. There are a few scratches and rub marks on the back plate (which I've tried to capture in the pictures). There is also a very small amount of the same on the finish right next to the back plate. The only other thing to note is that there are some light swirl marks on the pick guard from occasional play.This is as nice as you will find for a 1992 first year of issue SRV Fender Stratocaster.
