The accuracy of this blows away any other replica posted here. This is a custom-build replica of the famed guitar that was popularized by John Lennon and The Beatles. This guitar plays and sounds like the real deal, and is a beauty to look at, with a lacquered rosewood fretboard, and exact shape and specs. If you buy this guitar as I did with all of the basic hardware, it will cost $560. If you buy all of the upgraded hardware and hardshell case pictured here, It will easily cost $850. Plus, you'll have to pay someone to upgrade it if you're not up to the task. So, this is a great deal with all of the upgrades done. The guitar has been "Lennonized" to look more like his original guitar, with genuine parts including a Bigsby B5, Bigsby/Sorkin Bowtie Bridge, Kluson Deluxe tuners, Ric pickup grommets, Pyramid Gold flatwound strings, and custom made John Lennon Signature truss rod cover. In addition, this has an alder wood body like his first model so it's really a cross between the two models that Lennon owned. Also included is a brand new hardshell case (custom fit). This guitar has been my pet project for the last year, and has never left my house, so it's in superb condition. Considering what I paid for the guitar, plus all of the parts, case, and work, I'm really offering a good deal here.Please note that the guitar is 5/8 scale exactly like the original. It's a blast to play through a Vox amp, and sounds great! If you've always wanted one of these, but were hesitant to pay the exorbitant prices of the original like I was, this is as close as you can get to it for a fraction of the price!
