Currency of this and all my sales is GBP £ Sterling you cannot purchase in any other currency!!!!This is the new eBay Store for AtoyboyGuitars here you can buy it now although I will still have the occasional auction and will be selling personal items from my atoyboy eBay user ID.Be sure to check out my new website - ATOYBOYGUITARS for more details on me and more pics of this great item!This will really blow you away… Sometimes you come across a guitar that can just transcend any superlative you throw at it and this is just one such instrument...A 100% original, 1962, slab board, custom colour, Olympic White Fender Jazzmaster in near MINT condition with matching headstock would be cool enough but to catapult this incredible guitar into true sub zero territory, this beauty comes with factory fitted, gold hardware.And it doesn't end there...Also included is the original polishing cloth, the gold plated trem arm and bridge cover, the original brown Tolex case plus the original purchase receipt from 1962 for a 'Jazz Master Custom Guitar' at the princely sum of $296. It'll cost you a bit more than that today :-)It is one of those guitars that causes your jaw to hit the floor the moment you open the case. This is one they painted at the factory and did not spray clear coat on. This is a nice thing as it means the Olympic White has not yellowed or custardised with age and still retains it's virginal, milky white good looks which when viewed in combination with the gold hardware, seems to just define beauty.Needless to say, everything is 100% original. The finish, the electrics, the hardware even the frets are original and it is currently fitted with flat wound strings which may have been the type used on the guitar most of it's life as fret wear is minimal.There are some wear patches on the back (see photos) plus a small mark on the front that looks like minor contact with a curly lead during storage and a mark by the end strap button which looks like wear caused by a thick, black strap. Aside from that, and a few other minor dings here and there, it is near MINT. The gold hardware is exceptional as you can see in the photos... it doesn't get much better than this!Should you decide you would actually like to play this guitar then you will not be disappointed in that department either. It has a nice low action, both pickups with the original windings are strong yet evenly balanced. All the fiddly controls work as well!If you happened to suddenly find yourself in Offset heaven, then this is surely the sort of guitar you would expect to find yourself in the company of.Possibly a true one off... there is not another like it out there I know of and I think it would be a fair old while before you found another as good as this.Please have a good look at the 20+ high resolution photos I have posted to fully appreciate the AMAZING condition these great guitars are inWinning buyer MUST make contact with me within 24 hours and let me know payment schedule and method or item may be re-listed.
