Description Product Description This Custom Shop 5-string bass from Warwick has an afzelia body. This rare wood has a powerful, even voice with crisp treble sounds and a rich low end. The neck is made from seven pieces of wenge and afzelia, and it joins the body with neck-thru construction. The wenge fretboard has yin yang inlays as well as 24 jumbo bronze extra hard frets. The whole board has been treated with Warwick's Invisible Fretwork Technology system, so there are no dead spots or sharp ends. Electronically, this bass is really decked out. It has two active MEC J/J pickups wired to an active MEC preamp with controls for volume, balance, treble and bass. The case that comes with this instrument isn't so much a case as it is a bomb shelter for your bass. It has to be one of the most durable and protective cases you can get for any instrument.
